  1. >A federal judge ruled Tuesday that Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency’s efforts to dismantle USAID were unconstitutional “in multiple ways.”In a nearly 70-page filing, Maryland District Judge Theodore Chuang responded to a lawsuit filed by several fired USAID employees. His order constrains DOGE and Musk personally—the first order to do so for the shadowy head of the amorphous organization.

  2. DOGE is going to end up causing MORE money to be spent to fix its cuts.

  3. Cool. Can we lock him up? He just broke the law. He isn’t the president, so he doesn’t have immunity.

  4. What they are doing is theater. Real cuts would need to happen in the military to cut spending and have a meaningful impact.

  5. >His order constrains DOGE and Musk personally

In what way does it constrain them?

  6. *Elon Musk Dealt Huge Blow… To His Head When Window Unit Air Conditioner Rattles Itself Loose and Plummets Six Stories.*

  7. It’s only a “huge blow” if someone enforces the ruling.

  8. This is just begging for the EO to make judges unconstitutional.

I know that sounds crazy … so?

  9. Everyone hates Musk here. He should go back to his people in Africa

  10. Trump and Elon don’t care. They will probably continue disregarding valid court orders. That is what happened with the deportation flights. they just ignored the order.

This is clearly a constitutional crisis. Trump and his admin are challenging the courts, an equal branch of gov’t,, to stop him. What enforcement mechanism does the court have? Its not like the US Marshalls are going to arrest the president. That is the worst part about this. They break the law every day they exist but their sycophants never see anything wrong with it, but heaven forbid I get upset that Trump pardoned cop killers from Jan 6th and they think its the end of the world.

SO much of this country’s population is so lost in the sauce that I don’t expect this country to recover. to many republicans care only about owning the libs to the point they vote against their own interests.

  11. Elon Musk has turned Twitter into his own personal soapbox. He’s taken actions to fire and suppress dissent while altering the algorithms to direct traffic to him and any far right mouthpieces willing to literally pay for the privilege to have their voices elevated.

Twitter is now one of the largest, most sophisticated echochambers on the internet.

This means that Musk controls the narrative at all times. Even when “Grok”—an AI chatbot developed by a company that Elon Musk founded—is asked about the prevalence of misinformation and propaganda on its own platform, it points to Musk as one of the major contributors of that misinformation.

Twitter hasn’t become some bastion of “free speech,” but a hotbed of far right propaganda that seems to disproportionately lift up fringe, conservative voices that defend Musk at all costs. The platform heavily promotes narratives and talking points that adhere strictly to a pro-Trump/Musk dogma, suppressing all negative coverage of the current administration.

So within the Twitter bubble, these judges that are simply doing their jobs are being painted as corrupt officials overstepping their authority. When in reality, they’re merely responding to executive overreach and the unconstitutional actions of an unhinged, wannabe dictator and an unelected plutocrat.

  12. Not before hundreds if not thousands of babies died from HIV among sooo much other harm. This is all if they actually follow the order to…sooo…..

  13. Hate to break it, but as long as Musk isn’t jailed and still remains the richest person on earth, then he hasn’t been dealt a single fucking blow. Getting fed feelgood headlines like this day after day only serves to pacify the opposition.

  14. He should get sued personally, and charged with all the crimes he’s committed. Also he SHOULD PAY TAXES

  15. World’s richest man shouldn’t be involved in ANY government decisions.

  16. Maybe next time don’t elect an idiot who is so obviously compromised by dictators and billionaires.

  17. > Chuang agreed to grant some, but not all, of the relief requested by the plaintiffs, saying that while the the mass personnel and contract terminations were part of DOGE’s efforts to permanently dismantle of USAID, **the court would not enjoin them because the record “presently supports the conclusion that USAID either approved or ratified the decisions, so such relief would effectively enjoin USAID.”**

Can someone smart explain this to me? I don’t understand what this means / is referring to..

  18. >Elon Musk Dealt Huge Blow

I thought he was more of a ketamine guy.

  19. Looks like Elon Musk just got schooled on how democracy works, and it’s about time someone told him that dismantling vital agencies isn’t a video game where you just delete what you don’t like.

  20. So arrest Elon. He doesn’t have the presidency to hide behind… wait he is president. My bad

  21. trump/elon ignoring judge’s ruling and insisting they’re impeached in 5….4…3…2…1

  22. This has been gearing up for the last few weeks. At some point Trump, Musk, and others are simply going to openly say “We don’t care!” to the Judges.

This is the same legal system that failed to hold Trump accountable. On a certain level Trump perceives them as “weak,” or not being able to enforce decisions.

  23. So to sum up the result of the judgement, we have been paying Doge and its 30 employees 9mill/week for nothing.

  24. Okay are the judges gonna enforce anything though when they decide to not listen to the order?

  25. Cool, who’s going to stop him though? Trump has already demonstrated the courts have no enforcement power. This is more Kabuki theater.

  26. I can appreciate some of the judicial findings recently that are reinforcing the fact that most of the things Trump and Musk have attempted to do over the past month + are unconstitutional, but when are these findings going to turn into actual action. This administration has directly disobeyed orders from the court already. I’m genuinely asking, who would be responsible for enforcing these orders?

  27. Until they arrest Musk and Trump as the attempted Oligarchs they are, there is no “Huge Blow.”

  28. Lmao check this out:

    > Musk responded to the ruling Tuesday, resharing a post on X from Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk. “In case it wasn’t explicit enough that the only two clauses of the left’s constitution were ‘thou shalt have open borders’ and ‘All American money will be sent abroad,’” Kirk wrote.

“The left’s constitution” is the United States Constitution, dipshit. The other obvious hypocrisy is, it’s stipulated in the “Reevaluating and Realigning United States Foreign Aid” executive order from Trump, that there are 2 exceptions to the funding freeze, one of which was military aid to Israel and Egypt. So when dipshits Charlie Kirk says, and Musk retweets, “all American money will be sent abroad” as part of the left’s imaginary constitution, they’re exposing their own hypocrisy. USAID is or was the largest humanitarian organization on the planet. Much of the work it does is devoted to for instance, treating people in say Africa, who have HIV and AIDS. THAT is the left’s agenda, while Trump’s agenda is to fund genocide in Palestine.

  29. Court decisions don’t matter. They have shown they will ignore them with zero consequences from Congress. We are cooked.

  30. No kidding, everything they do is illegal. Too bad some of that money went to a family party last month.

  31. I keep seeing all of these things being called illegal and yet zero repercussions to be found.
