US crude oil inventories increased by 4.593 million barrels for the week ending March 14, 2025, following a 4.247 million-barrel rise the previous week, according to the American Petroleum Institute.
This marks the second straight week of inventory builds after two weeks of declines, significantly exceeding market expectations of a 1.17 million-barrel increase.
