Zozaya is ready.
WWE Tryouts
WWE just recently wrapped up a SmackDown taping in Barcelona, Spain. On the show, one of Spains top prospects by the name of Zozaya was an extra during the WWE event. Now, he’s in line for a WWE tryout.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan first broke the news that Zozaya is set for the upcoming WWE tryout in Europe late this month. Zozaya was recently receiving praise from fellow Spain standout and one half of the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, Axiom.
We now know one name scheduled for the upcoming WWE tryouts in Europe.
The tryout, which we previously reported is happening in late March, is an opportunity for some of the top talent in Europe to make their case to be signed by WWE.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned that Spanish talent Zozaya is set for the tryouts. Zozaya was an extra during WWE’s SmackDown show in Barcelona, and previously worked as an extra for AEW at All In 2024. He was also the recipient of praise from A-Kid (Axiom) at last week’s Lucha Rebelion event.
As of this writing, we have not confirmed any other names for the tryout, but have been told other talent have been extended invitations.
We wish him the best of luck in his WWE tryout and hope to see him in WWE soon enough.
