GMB: Susanna tells Richard ‘that’s enough’

Good Morning Britain viewers fumed “move on” after a tense Prince Harry and Meghan Markle segment on Wednesday (March 19).

During today’s show, hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley brought the latest headlines to ITV viewers, with commentators Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce sharing their thoughts on the biggest stories.

At one point, the group discussed Prince Harry’s unsealed visa records, but things soon got tense as they disagreed over Meghan.

“I tell you who’s breathing a big sigh of relief this morning in Montecito, and that’s Prince Harry. Because these documents relating to his US visa application… they have been released but they’re heavily redacted. America’s playing nice to our Prince Harry,” Richard explained.

Kevin then recalled President Donald Trump’s recent response to Harry’s application, in which he said he wouldn’t evict him from the country as “he’s got enough problems” to deal with.

“I don’t want to do that. I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible,” Trump previously wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Talk soon turned to Harry and Meghan’s current popularity in the States, as well as Meghan’s new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan – which has now been renewed for a second season.

“The ratings are not great,” Andrew said, with Susanna quickly interjecting: “Do you know that?”

Susanna then “confessed” that she had made Meghan’s one-pot pasta recipe three times since watching the show, adding: “I thoroughly recommend it, it’s delicious.”

However, GMB fans were not impressed with the segment, with many taking to X to share their frustrations.

“Who’s bothered about Harry dear lord move on,” one person wrote, while another added: “Oh the shock! #GMB hating on Harry and Meghan again.”

“Wasting so much time on this, move on,” a third viewer said, with another similarly sharing: “What has happened to Harry, why are he and Meghan unpopular, says the man whose programme has spent years and years running them down.”

A fifth fan echoed the sentiment: “So @GMB seem to think it’s more important to talk about (i.e bully) Meghan and Harry than about all those people terrified that their lives are going to be massively impacted by benefit cuts. Nice to know where their priorities lie.”
