They really need to increase the sentences for sex crimes. In an ideal world Id have people like him breaking rocks with a sponge for the next 50 years
Justice Paul Burns is in all my experience a competent and balanced judge who takes sexual crimes seriously.
By the sentencing guidelines this, apparently, should be 7 years in prison. Burns gave him 3 years probation instead of 1 of those years – which makes sense I guess?
But it’s unclear what the last year of ‘mitigation’ was, to bring it down to 5?
Violent rapes and sexual assaults must be on the increase in recent years, just seems to be so many,
I would be very concerned if I was the family of his new girlfriend, rapes and assaults don’t just happen to strangers, much easier to control and coerce someone you are going out/married too…
may she tread very carefully
