Malta has signed a landmark shore power agreement with Carnival Corporation, making it the first Mediterranean cruise port to offer shore power.

In a major step towards sustainable cruising, this agreement will allow cruise ships to connect to the local grid, reducing emissions while docked and enhancing Malta’s reputation as a leader in green cruise innovation.
