1. That was always the plan and sane people were telling it from the start.

2. Republican voters are largely uneducated so they often fail to grasp the message

3. You can get out of the tariffs by not buying anything.

4. Trump’s plan is simpler than that: he wants a recession, where the Fed has to lower the interest rate. Trump wants better interest rates for Trump Organization loans, and doesn’t care about the rest of the country’s economy.

   But the tariff scam is a win-win-win for Trump as he’ll lower his personal tax rate and the taxes on the Trump Organization.

   But because his loyal MAGA will accept the story that Biden caused all their problems, and they continue to vote Republican.
