  18. The reasoning is irrelevant. They defunded Columbia for being “anti-semetic” and now defund UPenn for “trans” stuff. They know that people with higher education vote Democratic in greater numbers. This is about defunding higher education, and making up the reasons to justify it later.

  25. Trump has declared war on higher education, and he is trying to take out the big fish one by one. The only way for universities to respond is to band together and fight this, or they will all be defunded (or whipped into line) alone.

It’s really interesting to see r/politics actually try to defend trans people, because every time a story about trans people simply wanting to belong anywhere happens, we have to hear about how trans people cost the election, with people always saying to sacrifice trans rights and freedoms in order to win elections.

    This should be pretty plain and clear that there is no appeasing MAGA Christian nationalists at all. They won’t stop until all trans people are exterminated. That’s their goal for all us in the LGBTQIA+ community. Look at Hungary. They’re going to use facial recognition software to round up LGBTQIA+ people and throw all queer folks in prisons to be tortured. That’s what’s coming to America very soon. CPAC said they were all domestic terrorists. That’s what they are hoping to do to us.
