Today, I got sent home from work because of my t-shirt. Along with the slogan a skull in the middle that featured a tiny cannabis leaf. Management said it was inappropriate and accused me of advertising drugs.

The thing is, my workplace has always been pretty relaxed about casual wear—plenty of people wear shirts with bold designs or slogans. I wasn’t expecting this to be an issue, and now I’m worried they might escalate things with a written warning.

Do you think they’re overreacting, or have I overstepped?
