Businesses respond to changing customer behaviour.
Controversial take but if I were setting up a business today I’d probably be cashless too. The costs for businesses to trade with cash are so high so unless you’re in a cash industry, cater mainly to older clientele or looking to fiddle the revenue it’s just not worth it.
Tried to read who the brands are but the popup ads all over the site make it unusable.
This will trigger the “cash is king” loons. The rest of us will barely notice.
Literally haven’t used cash for 7 years in a row. Except some public toilets which weirdly require coins for some reason.
Bad news for drug dealers
I just don’t understand why you would limit your payment choices.
Pay me in anything, I really don’t care but a transaction must take place.
I sell you a coffee, you give me Lego, post it notes, cash, foreign cash with a pretty picture, card, 00000.01% of a bitcoin, a convincing sob story, stock you don’t need anymore etc etc. your grandads rusty old bayonet.
As a sole trader I can be more flexible.
