Visit of the President of Latvia, some roads with temporary traffic disruptions
The President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevics, will be in Kosovo on an official visit on Thursday and Friday.
Kosovo Police announced a temporary traffic interruption on several road segments where his escort is expected to pass, as well as near state facilities, reports KosovaPress.
According to police, there will be traffic rerouting to alternative routes.
“To enable the free movement of the escort according to the movement itinerary and the development of activities according to the visit agenda, the Kosovo Police will temporarily interrupt traffic flow [in short time intervals] on several road segments [where the escort is expected to pass] and in the vicinity of state facilities, where there will be a reorientation of traffic to alternative routes.”, said the Kosovo Police in a statement while asking for understanding from citizens and traffic participants.
Rinkevics will be received by President Vjosa Osmani at 13:00 PM, reports KosovaPress.
After this meeting, according to the announcement issued by the Presidency, a press conference is expected to be held.
