It’s kind of funny reading it cuz on Monday i was late to work 3 hours because of a car crash
But jokes aside, it’s really cool the situation is getting better.

because they increased ticket prices by x10 😀
I get my motorbike in 1 week so I’m happy to hear this
I’m traveling to Poland (various parts, not only Warsaw) at least twice per year for more than 10 years now and can say that much less crazy drivers on the roads recently. Improving your main roads and new highways also helps. But people seem less nervous, much better driving culture.
I visited Poland 15 and 2 years ago. The difference in road/driving culture is incredible. As a pedestrian on the sidewalk, all it takes sometimes is just to look in the direction of the street and cars are already slowing down and some stop straight out incase you try to cross. Not sure if PIS brought the death penalty for traffic offences but what ever happened it works. 15 years ago even I visited Poland on my very first day I saw a pedestrian lying on the street and blood coming out of his head and people running toward/crying. It looks like Poland has done really well here.

It’s still very high though, and without a massive expansion of speed cameras, things won’t improve any further.
