In the Kursk region, on the border with Ukraine, Russian troops are regaining ground against Ukrainian troops who have held part of the area since last August. Talks on a ceasefire are still under way, and Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are due to meet in the next few days to try to reach an agreement.

  9. To anyone saying that Russia is the aggressor, how would we, in the US, react if Russia placed missiles and military bases in Canada or Mexico? How would England react if Russia placed missiles in Ireland and Scotland? Putin is opposing a Ukraine NATO membership for the same reasons Kennedy opposed the Cuban missiles. Putin is NOT the aggressor. NATO has been expanding its borders to the East, in blatant violation of previous agreements. After numerous warnings, Russia moved into Ukraine to protect its sovereignty. That's the truth.
