  1. the true test will be if kids like it

if they do, then nothing else matters

it is, after all, for kids

  2. *Dwarfs*

If only the proper (nonTolkienized) plural had been used then this headline would have made more sense.

  3. Why are people mad about a Latina playing snow white? They don’t know snow white wasn’t a real person, do they?

  4. Still terrified of the dwarves.

Just gimme Lilo and Stitch already. (Probably what Disney is banking on big)

  5. Its got gal gadot, she cant even act a perfect role for her, evil queen that wants to kill an innocent child

  6. I’m not gonna see this in theatres anyways, gonna wait for Disney+ release.

The one thing i love about the casting is that they found a real life child killer supporter to play the Evil queen. Atleast they’re Authentic.

  7. At this point go watch it or fucking don’t.

I’m not because tbh I’m not a Disney adult and could give a rats ass about the remakes and am surprised they didn’t learn from how horrifying the Aladdin one was.

  8. I’m honestly just begging to stop hearing about this movie

  9. The Telegraph said it was quite good and better than Wicked, and I thought they would be hammering it because they are anti woke.

I’m not convinced it is gonna be better than wicked. But ok.

  10. I have literally forgotten, or have been turned around far too many times, on what “the Cause” is anymore. Peter Dinklage is a fun actor, but I stand by my opinion that actors – generally – make terrible ambassadors.

  11. It’s harder to enjoy a movie when people have been shitting on it before it comes out. Even if you try to go in open minded you’re primed to dislike it. I haven’t seen this movie specifically but I do wish I hadn’t already seen so much negative crap about it.

  12. Saw it last night. Definitely worth checking out if you like Disney films at all.

  13. A little off topic, but is anyone tired of these studious, Disney being the worst, giving the whole movie away in the previews? It’s like they’re banking on you thinking, well if they’re showing me this, imagine what I’m not seeing, and then it’s ,”Nope, we’ve already shown you all the good stuff, ha ha, dumbass.”

  14. It might do okay here in the UK over the Easter break in a couple of weeks. Something for parents to take the kids to for a couple of hours, but for everybody else it’s the new normal of ‘it’s probably shit so I’ll watch it on Disney+ when I’ve ran out of other things to watch.’

  15. I think, as a whole, movie revenue is gonna go down across the board. The economy is beginning to affect the everyday consumer and lower to middle class families more and more, aside from the already felt effects of higher cost groceries. We saw the stock market freefall the past two weeks, and that will always affect the rich immediately. But there will always be a buffer before it starts to affect everyone else in a bigger way. We were all struggling with egg and milk prices already, now overtime is going to begin getting cut. Raises, and promotions at corporate jobs will be paused. So unfortunately, spending the average $25-$55 on a night at the movies with a family of 2-4, will become less and less of a reality for most people living in North America.

Not to take away from the terrible press this movie had up until its release.
