  1. SS: The formation of a European army appears increasingly imminent as key leaders—Germany’s incoming Chancellor Merz, Italy’s Meloni, Poland’s Tusk, and France’s Macron—align on further military integration. Friedrich Merz said the hundreds of billions in defence funding should be seen as “a major step” toward the European Defence Community. He seeks to revive the 1952 EDC, which included a European Army. It would only take France and Italy to ratify for it to come into force.

  2. And the world’s march towards WWIII continued unabated.

  3. These volt guys are not only completely insane but also unknown in 90% of Europe, thank god.

  4. Unite or be destroyed. It’s simple really. However the enemy is seeding divisiveness and installing puppets. How is europe going to combat that?

  5. Literally cannot understand why this is not already happen. Why do all these small countries need their own armies? Are the Belgians planning to invade Luxembourg?

  6. “Armed Forces of Europe” isn’t happening in anybody’s lifetime.

  7. I never understood the “EU Army” as a reason people voted for Brexit.

German tanks. French and Swedish planes, UK ships and so on… pretty fierce.

  8. This might the only silver lining to Trump’s fascist and hostile behavior towards our democratic allies and his obvious alliance and cow-towing to Putin (and other dictators and oligarchs). Europe, Canada and the rest of other democratic allies can no longer trust or rely on America any longer. They MUST unite and become the new western leader.

  9. This has been talked about for decades and then nothing happened, every time.

How does an army work with everyone talking different languages, and who would be in charge? Who would the generals be? And who would decide on when to deploy the army?

You need very rapid decision making in a military operation and the EU doesn’t do that.

  10. There are consequences to militarism. Most are negatives.
