This is BYD’s factory in China. Trump needs to focus on helping American companies upgrade their factories. Tariffs will not protect outdated technology.

  1. It’ll get worse with tariffs. Search Youtube for ‘Reagan on Tariffs’

  2. American companies actually need to invest profits in new technologies and not to buy back stock

  3. While china is pouring trillions in their industry and tech sector, trump is axing all subsidies so good luck to them. With high tariffs and no subsidies the industry is doomed. Musk could never have launched his companies without them

  4. Manufacturing looks like it might be less labor intensive in 2025 than it was in 1975.

Cuts to education, tariffs and ripping up security relationships and trade agreement to ensure no one wants to do business with or buy U.S. products.

    Sigh.

  5. The mean the company with the most advanced factory tech is also being boycotted/burnt down by “the people”…

  6. There are actually plenty of US car factories like this actually. But agree companies should be investing is equipment and not share buybacks!

(Source: I spent 20 years in Industrial automation, and have been to virtually every U.S. assembly plant, several in Europe and China as well).

  7. American auto industry will see massive job losses due to automation…. 100,000 people gone!

  8. I mean, they won’t allow the cars to be sold in the US. I’ve been on rednote for a few months and I’m so jealous of all the awesome things they have in China. They’re way past the US.

  9. Yikes…. you better not look at Tesla’s assembly line.

  10. Who needs to invest in America when you can outsource to cheaper India
