I've order some expensive item from brack.ch and in the payment options I choose to pay in advance.

So, initially they sent me something resembling a bill with some scarse info regarding compnay address and items orders and prices.

In the bill there was an iban to the value of the goods in their postfinance account.

Instead of that I asked them to issue a proper QR-bill which they did but only the half part was populated with missing product descriptions and prices.

Below is an example with QR and iban reducted.

My question is, is this legit? It looks sketchy as fuck to me.
Has anyone bought "expensive" items from them?
Is there some public registry of companies in Switzerland where one can validate whether a company is legit and registered and appropriate business?

Thanks.

  1. Brack is very much legit, they are part of Brack.Alltron. Brack is the B2C branch, Alltron the B2B.

    >Is there some public registry of companies in Switzerland where one can validate whether a company is legit and registered and appropriate business?

Yes, [Zefix](https://www.zefix.ch/en/search/entity/welcome). But as said, Brack is one of the big players in Switzerland. The Brack Alltron Group have 1.3k employees and had 1.14b in sales in 2024.

    Edit: Added something little.

  2. They’re legit alright. Use them nearly monthly and no issues at all.

  3. As B2C perspective I would say go with Digitec/Galaxus. But for B2B brack are way better than anything else

Source : I buy a lot on Digitec as consumer and for my work I have to do a lot of purchase and i can clearly said that brack is the best when you have access to the business store

  4. Brack is excellent. Maybe choose another payment option?

  5. I haven’t used their ‘payment in advance’ option this way. But having to deal with paying bills every day…this is just a blanko QR slip.

It might be that their billing system can’t produce a proper invoice yet for whatever reason and in order for you to pay in advance, they provided you with a blanko QR slip.

This is legit. And Brack are very much a legit business. One of the big players in the e-commerce space in Switzerland.

  6. I used them plenty of times before and never had any troubles,

  7. I always switch between Digitec/Galaxus and Brack, depending on where it’s cheaper to buy the things I want. Both are legit.

  8. Brack is very much legit, but I have the feeling that they’re more focused on B2B sales.

You can look up companies here

    Brack.ch AG : [https://www.zefix.ch/en/search/entity/list/firm/711591](https://www.zefix.ch/en/search/entity/list/firm/711591)

This is the registeries of commerce and will inform you if a company under xyz name does exist, it’ll give you basic dates and tell you whether the company is still active, is being liquidated or has been liquidated or otherwise closed.

  9. Can’t you just buy it with an invoice at brack? I would just do that. Same but less risk to you. But yes brack is ledigt. It is nearly 30 years old and has a good reputation.

  10. You should find the bill online when you login. Just use that, however sketch it might look to you. (assuming that you type in brack.ch in your browser and there is not sophisticated cyber attack going on against you).

  11. That’s exactly how a bill looks like. The ones from my tax office, the ones from my landlord, the ones from my car registration office. Every single bill has a seperate QR code paper with no other information on it
