Repealing the Inflation Reduction Act could wipe $160 billion off US GDP. A full repeal this year would cause significant damage to the US economy, triggering nearly 790,000 job losses by 2030 and reducing GDP by more than $160 billion. Household energy bills could increase $370 per year on average.

  1. Not going to happen, congress will never get enough votes to do it. The job losses would be severe in a number of republican districts and they know it.

  2. If they actually go through with this, it basically guarantees that any kind of long-term energy infrastructure investment will be impossible. If a president is willing to come in and throw out everything the previous administration advanced in this area, there can’t be any type of long-term plan.

  3. I’m glad Frito man knows what he’s doing. Maybe the rest of should be drinking the Kool-Aid too. Then we can totally understand his demented thinking. 🤔

  4. So when is someone in our government going to doing something to stop this shit?!

  5. The key part of this sentence is Energy bills could increase $370. Everything Trump is doing is to support natural gas.

  6. The inflation reduction act wasn’t that the bill that increased inflation a bunch. I just love how they name bills.
