Hello

I've heard many things about the opinions of the people of Donbas about the war. I know opinions vary, and I'd like to listen to some. Some say the majority support Russia and want to join Russia, while others say the majority are against Russia.

  1. I’m not from there, nor have I ever been there.

However, it’s controlled by ruzzia and anyone saying they are opposed to ruzzia would likely be hunted down. Having an opinion there can likely risk one’s life.

So, you’re either going to get those who live there saying they love ruzzia, and those who moved away when the war broke out saying they hate ruzzia.

  2. Just familiarize yourself with the methods used by the muscovite empire in the occupied lands for hundreds of years. You will be able to clearly understand who is on them, and that the issue of sentiment in such a context is completely secondary.

  3. My family is from there and they escaped in time. Russian evil was coming, everyone knew

  4. I know people from the Donetsk Oblast and are they worried and want a cease fire to go into effect before the Russians can get to their hometown. They believe it’s only a matter of time.

  5. They stole my friends family’s land and home. He was born Ukrainian and his house is now filled with russian occupiers and he’s a refugee in his own country. A home his father built.

  6. I have 2 friends that are from the Donbass. On from Luhansk one from Donetsk. One currently a medic in Dnipro working on evacs from the front lines. Russian speaker primarily. The other fled his home on his graduation dinner night in 2014. Both Ukrainian both anti Russian. Grandparents couldn’t leave. Will never see them again. Fuck Russia.

Ones father was not antiputin originally but is now and is finally learning the Ukrainian language.
