Can someone explain to my why ? Except easter coming, don't we produce tones of eggs localy and have nothing to do with the US ? Or do we export to america ?

  1. The reason for the historical high egg price is the bird flu. It is hitting worse in the US, which has them buy up more of the world supply, but it is not like Europe is immune. About five million chickens have already been terminated since November for the risk of it.

  2. They lost 1/3 of there egg production overthere due a birdflue thing. And so the market reactes on that. Also regulations in Europe makes producing more expensive. And we as people jusr consume a lot of eggs.

  3. Apparently the coming of Easter also drives up the demand.

  4. Lifehack: if you get 3 chickens you have all the eggs you’ll ever need.FOR FREE.
Also, they eat all your leftovers and are very fun too look at.

A chickens work is never done.
