Why this discrimination

  1. Because from what I know only the kingdoms got representations back then and wales wasn’t a kingdom back than but already annexed by England

  2. Wales is represented by the English flag, as they’re just a small part of England

  3. Well, their top half is white…

Could be the white parts 😂

  4. Unrelated, but Nordrheinwestfalen should be called Nordrheinwestfalen-Lippe, we even got the fucking rose on the state’s emblem. But no.

  5. Serious response: A classic example of a bigger country treating a smaller country not so well, and then years later people either not wanting to change it or finding excuses that are rather shakey to justify it.

2We4U response: The cultural G*rmanics that stole my rock piles are afraid of the strong, sexual powers of Y Ddraig Goch. We’re all hypersexual here, and our flag show it. Oh yes, boyo, the only reason we shag sheep is to get rid of the excess energy. A thousand starved Cymry sent out into battle would be a terrifying force.

  6. Fun times with this but; the Union Flag predates the island of Ireland being split.

St Patrick’s Saltire that is in the UF does not represent Northern Ireland as a country, it represents the entire island. So NI is technically also 0% as NI have not adopted a national flag.

Closest is the Ulster flag with the gold removed but both Unionists and Nationalists in NI do not use the the standalone flag represented in the UF as suggested here.

Also……just stick the dragon on it.

    1. This land of my fathers is dear to me
Land of poets and singers, and people of stature
    Her brave warriors, fine patriots
    Shed their blood for freedom

    Chorus:
Land! Land! I am true to my land!
As long as the sea serves as a wall
    For this pure, dear land
May the language endure for ever.

    2. Old land of the mountains, paradise of the poets,
    Every valley, every cliff a beauty guards;
Through love of my country, enchanting voices will be
Her streams and rivers to me.

    3. Though the enemy have trampled my country underfoot,
The old language of the Welsh knows no retreat,
The spirit is not hindered by the treacherous hand
Nor silenced the sweet harp of my land.

  8. You’re wrong, if you peel back the layers you’ll find it.

England flag is on top, then the NI flag, then Scotland and Wales is at the back. Just look on the back of the flag.

  9. Despite making up 13% of the UK, Northern Ireland is responsible for over half of all the car bombings.

  10. Why the f is NI not centered? My OCD is tingling now that I know this.

  11. The dragon flag wasn’t adopted to represent (the whole of) Wales until 1959. Classic Celtic revisionism to claim an ancient tradition when it only qualifies for a state pension this year.

That said, I think every national flag should include flags of its constituent parts; half the PIGS would tear themselves apart fighting over it.
