Producer prices in Slovenia rose by 0.5% year-on-year in February 2025, recovering from a 0.8% drop in the previous month.

This marked the first growth in producer prices since November 2023, as costs rebounded for mining and quarrying (2.4% vs -0.3% in January) and manufacturing (0.7% vs -0.6%).

At the same time, producer inflation increased further for water supply (5.8% vs 3.8%), while it declined at a softer pace for electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply (-4.8% vs -7.1%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices advanced by 0.4% in February, following a 0.5% fall in the preceding period.
