Russian embassy says Irish decision to expel diplomats ‘will not go unanswered’

  1. Have we heard what they were actually expelled for? I’m just curious if anything beyond their behaviour “not been in accordance with international standards of diplomatic behaviour”

  2. I’m just surprised Filatov didn’t use the term “*ethnic* Russian children”. They’re big on this ‘Russian ethnicity’ thing at the moment. They’ll be chittering about ‘racial purity’ any minute now…

And I’m still waiting to see some legal proof showing the ‘illegitimacy’ of the EU sanctions. The Russian government are such a bunch of hard done by, gaslighting, fantasists. It’d be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.

EDIT: I seem to be getting a few downvotes here as well. Would the pro-Putinites care to show themselves so we can have some *real* fun…?

  3. We may be a small, poorly armed country, but we’re more than….about 50KM from Russia, so we’re fine…

  4. *’…Not go unanswered’?*

The do know we have out own **whiskey**, don’t they?. We don’t *need* any of their namby-pamby vodka wee.

  5. “What about this fella called Borris – in someplace called ‘Ossory’ it says here?”

  6. Oh no, what are you going to do Russia? Invade Ireland?

Bully is a Bully no matter the clothes they are wearing.

Russian Government is rotten to the core and there won’t be any meaningful change to how the world perceives them until they are out and gone for good. Only then can the healing process start and Russia become truly part of the global community.

  7. Good and with no flights to Russia, I hope the fuckers have to walk back to Moscow.

The last couple months have been a rude awakening for many people who think Ireland is too small for Russia to take seriously. Ireland may be small but its position is of massive importance being the western most point of the EU, a key flash point in the wake of Brexit and the home to many of our largest tech companies.
