Fresh out of the packet, a bona fide triple decker custard cream with 2 custard layers. Absolutely blinding. It's made my day. I can't bring myself to eat it. It's the club sandwich of biscuits, mate.

  7. I always like to split them in half then sandwich the two creamed halves together to double the cream:biscuit ratio.

    Many moons ago, I was going through this splitting routine when on one biscuit the cream broke clean off both biscuit halves, and landed on the worktop intact. Not one to waste an opportunity I split another two biscuits and used this spare cream slice to make a treble patty custard cream.

    I’d like to tell you it was amazing, but if I’m being honest it was a bit too much.

    I’m no Merlin (or am I?) but I suspect that a retrieved triple-decker cream perfectly captures the spirit of us, your loyal subjects.

    Would be cool for them to make this as an actual thing, with a plain or dual patterned centre biscuit.

  14. Used to intentionally make these myself as a kid.

    The idea of them is better than the reality though. That’s a lot of dry biscuit.
