BORGER, Texas (KFDA) – Registration is open for an upcoming mental health conference in Borger this month.
The Panhandle Area Health Education Center and Panhandle Behavioral Health Alliance are hosting the Supporting Frontier Communities in Mental Health Conference April 11.
Event organizers say the conference will focus on the mental health challenges in rural and underserved communities in the Panhandle.
Mental health professionals and providers, community members, and advocates will come together to explore improving mental health services in rural areas.
Organizers say attendees will also have the opportunity to network with vendors to learn about resources and engage in interactive breakout sessions.

The conference will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. April 11 at the Frank Phillips College Dillard Library, 1301 W. Roosevelt.
