  1. Meh his version of frank isn’t very true to the comics, I bet the version they wanted to tell was…

  2. Can you imagine if they went through with changing the tone to comedic and rolled out a silly, wacky version of his Punisher? Riots. He was right to nope out.

  3. What I don’t understand is that the complaints I heard about the original draft of Born Again kinda centred around 1 – the fact that Foggy and Karen weren’t in it which, without getting into spoilers, has kind of been the case in this version too, and 2 – that Matt is mostly doing lawyer stuff and barely in the costume till like halfway through the series which… has kind of also been the case here? He’s only had one Daredevil scene as far as I’ve seen and it was RIGHT at the start.

I’m still enjoying it and the Fisk stuff is all pretty great but it doesn’t seem to have been that much of a departure

Edit: like on more than one occasion I checked if I’d somehow gotten my hands on the unaired one they shot 70% of pre-strike

  4. I’m writing this as a fan: why does everything have to be about ‘the fans’? Why can’t he say that ‘I know the character and it just wasn’t him’?

Fans don’t always know better. I’m not disagreeing with him, I trust him. I just hate this phenomenon. Make something GOOD, not something ‘for the fans’.

  5. Punisher should have like 15 seasons by now. The list is long yo.
