  1. Eddie had a fabulous eye for spotting talent and making money out of it

    Rip

  2. A young driver named Michael Schumacher on the same track as two Brazilian champions Senna and Piquet. As well as Nigel Mansell, and Alain Prost. And back in the back of the grid: Mika Häkkinen.

    Unreal stuff.

  3. What is that Ireland logo from? I love the font, does anybody know what it is?

  4. And I’m pretty sure he only got the seat was because Jordans usual driver, Bertrand Gachot, was in jail for aggrivated assault. Schumacher only drove the once for Jordan as Benetton shaped him up straight after that race at Spa

  5. A bastion of Irish sport, fair fucking play to the man and his legacy

  6. The outpouring for EJ is heartening. It’s something to add really. The logo on the cars, the emotion it’s such a tribute.

  7. Eddie was an absolute legend. When we talk about the sporting days of the Irish success of the 90s like Italia 90 or Sonia, Eddie’s overwhelming contribution is often overlooked. I remember watching F1 in the early 90s and being honestly blown away that an Irish person was hitting those heights.
