  3. lol in the kemalist sub here they try to mobilize people and attack Kurdish people because the Kurdish party in Turkey said they will participate in the protests.

    For me tukey can go to hell, I hope  for a civil war happens, For us Kurds nothing changes

  6. I was wondering about this. The first time I went to Turkey, over 20 years ago, there was a picture of Ataturk in every hotel and young people had tattoos of him. What happened?

  10. Erdogan staged a coup in 2016….nobody cared.
    Erdogan is responsible for dealing with ISIS and Russia…nobody cared.
    Erdogan has risen from a poor family and now he is a billionaire…nobody cared.
    Erdogan has imprisoned anyone who tries to confront him…nobody cared.
    Turkey is not Instabul,the majority of Turkish people will vote Erdogan again…and again…and again,because they believe him and have no connection with the Western civilization!

  14. Can you imagine if people could live forever? This is one of the times I’m thankful we all pass away at some stage or Erdogan, and others would never leave.

  18. Yeah, the real story here is that Ekrem İmamoğlu is a PKK Lover more than Turkish Nationalist. He doesn’t represent Ataturk’s values anymore, CHP has changed this is the sad reality.

    Ekrem İmamoğlu – Mayor of Istanbul has embezzled 500 Million, these protests then started as a way to deflect his crimes this is the honest truth.

    Don’t fall for ‘this is about Democracy’ this is deflection. Istanbul treasury has millions of dollars of advertising from EU, FARM BOTS and so on .

    Ekrem İmamoğlu is also part of World Economic Forum – George Soros project.

  22. Ataturk becoming a liberal saint is just so baffling from a western or Greek/Armenian POV but thats how he has been internalized in Turkish discourse for partially factual partially mythological reasons.

    In some cases, this deep reverence for leaders creates an environment where corruption or misconduct is overlooked or tolerated, simply because the leader is seen as indispensable.

    This is the biggest problem in the e country.
