  1. For the love of all that is British just give it to Ukraine!?!? What was the point in Brexit if we are just going to be terrified of Russia or worried about disrupting other countries…????

  5. The way I see it, Freezing 25bn means nothing.

    Dumbing it down – wouldn’t that essentially be like freezing a savings account of someone who has dozens more, of course annoying & a bit concerning but unless the government is actually going to take it shit happens the money is just parked there, and given this is no doubt in property frozen or not the value only increases when you eventually get it back.

    Does the UK actually have the balls to actually take it and give it to Ukraine?

  10. Give it straight to Ukraine. As a first rate of reparations. I am pretty sure it will pay like 3% of the damage done to the country by Russia.

  11. You guys are dumb thinking that they can give away assets just like that. It is a lengthy process, you have to find a legitimate reason for confiscation and no, you can’t just sell them just because they belong to russia

  13. Would be a shame if there was a computer error and that money SOMEHOW ended up in Ukraine.
