8. As an American, I think this is great. All it took was Trump getting elected because the Democrats are incompetent and thought they could force an unlikable candidate down everyone’s throats, to realize that our “allies” are reactionary buffoons who are easily manipulated and can’t be relied upon.

   Time for the US to become isolationist and only aid and create trade agreements with countries that understand that the US will always oscillate between democrats and republicans and the people living here are mostly caught having to wait for the bad decisions of one party to be undone by the other party.

   The rest of the world has been relying on the US to provide military support and money for every single initiative and idea in exchange for being seen as the big dog, but in reality all we got in return was tourism dollars and countries being “nice” to us with a dagger behind their backs.

   Time for the world to get off the US tit and figure out how to defend themselves from Russia and China. Good luck affording universal healthcare and all those social programs.
