It seems for an Aldi to operate successfully there must be at least one viking sympathiser in the staff!

  1. Diversity and inclusion gone mad innit. Bloody vikings coming over and stealing our jobs.

  2. Just a common look, innit? Like how every CEX has a bloke with purple hair and Joker tattoos.

  3. Mine doesn’t? And also maybe because it’s an entry level job and thats a hair style currently in fashion

  4. I keep on seeing them in Pharmacists of all places.

  5. Not at our Aldi, all the men working there are bare-faced 19 year olds.

  6. I have one of these at home, maybe I should be sending him to Aldi to meet his people haha

  7. There’s a well known British indie wrestler working part-time in my local Aldi. Sounds like a modern update of a Kirsty MacColl song but I promise it’s true.

  8. Can confirm got a tatted up guy with similiar hairstyle and tattoos, also got a weird grandad type aussie guy that loves saying hello to all the kids in the Aldi close by to me too.

  9. It’s for the ladies. He’s the modern equivalent of the Diet Coke Man.

  10. I thought that! I mean my friend would drive, maybe a couple of hundred miles, to the store!

  11. Never seen this type of man working in Aldi. In my city they seem mostly staffed by young british lads and Eastern European women in their 30s

  12. Plot twist, my local has a slight variation in that look with a prosthetic leg involved.

  13. Mine doesn’t. Mine only has elderly women working there.

  14. I wish we had Vikings at my Aldi. We do have a comicbook store guy from the Simpsons at our local Lidl. He always complains about his back. But no Vikings. 😭

  15. Tattoos, facial facial hair and a 2010 top knot variant is basically the default now.

Tattoos are so mainstream they’ve become lame. Sadly, maybe.

  16. He’s just waiting for his micro brewery to take off in a big way.

  17. We don’t have him in our area, but we do have two ladies that look similar to him 🤷🏻‍♂️

  18. I’m an old bastard, but I used to work with a bunch of 20yr old women. All their boyfriends looked like some variation of this. The beard, Viking top knot, compulsory sleeve tattoo with obligatory clock, skull and rose motif. They all looked the same to me. Maybe it was the same bloke – who knows?

I suppose if you are a single bloke and this look works for attracting women then it is going to be popular.

I would probably do the same if I was 30 yrs younger, and single, and could grow a proper beard and was good looking, and ( well you get the fucking point)

  19. Normally a lot pastier and fatter than that bloke, but yeah sort of.

  20. Literally no idea what you’re on about, as a regular Aldi-user.

  21. You need to visit the Aldi’s in Leicester, you won’t find him in any of them. (Shame, I’d have something to look at while shopping)

  22. Thems some big awkward buttons, id just undo the top one and take it off like a tshirt.

  23. Look, they’re just really passionate about Odin and the German Ma…rkets

  24. His tattoos are going to pay for themselves, also probably has other bills to pay

  25. It’s all bitter spinsters, creepy and unnaturally thin greasy men and a few people on some sort of spectrum or list at our local one. No vikings or anyone remotely resembling one.
They do sell plastic warrior helmets for kids every now and again though, so there’s that…

  26. One of them lived with me for a couple of years. Aldi offered a decent hourly rate and flexible shifts while he was at college then uni retraining to go into forestry. He now lives in a caravan in the Highlands and looks more like a viking than ever.

  27. Ask them if they’re into crypto, I bet you this is the gym-crypto redpill bro out in the wild

  28. At my local Aldi all the guys look like they’re banned from being within 100m of a school

  29. In my local Aldi, we don’t have a version of that man working there. Mostly because I am the local version of that man and I don’t work there, although I am found there about three days days a week doing shopping, buying milk and chocolate normally.
