    Or if you consider being forced out of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea to be a kind of expansion with a minus sign in front of it; and if you take into account Russia going from being the world’s second largest military power to being the sixth or seventh and falling; then God’s will would appear to be negative expansion for Russia.

    Not to mention that the Chinese Communist Party probably doesn’t care what the Russian Orthodox God wills in any case, and when they talk about “friendship without borders” with Russia I’m not sure they mean figuratively…
