  1. The article doesn’t say if the family had a certificate of exemption for the dog. Hope the man is okay

  2. >It is understood that the dog was a family dog.

Surely people have learned by now that most breeds of this ilk are really not suitable for families…

  3. Hopefully he’s ok but they should have gone a step further and just culled them all.

  4. As bad as it sounds, I’m glad it wasn’t a random passersby

  5. Very very few of the owners of these dogs actually have any exemption.

  6. Is there a provision in the law that any XL Bully found in, say 15 years, is automatically considered illegal and has to be put down straight away?

    I hope so.

  7. “It’s such unusual behaviour, normal he only attacks child sized stuffed toys or maybe a cat.”

  8. “He’s A Mad Cunt, From A Mad Area”

Imagine the chip/multiple chips on your shoulder you’d need to want a dog like that.

  9. I met a guy walking two of these things the other day. came around a corner and they started roaring at me and straining at the lead. He said it was because they hadn’t seen me coming, as if it was my fault.

Absolutely terrifying. There’s no good reason to have dogs like that
