I can’t find any definitive article that says they fired actual “air traffic controllers” I know there is a national shortage of controllers.
More than 130 of the eliminated workers held jobs that directly or indirectly support the air traffic controllers, facilities and technologies.

There’s nothing strange about it. Capitalists demand more profit so they are destroying the infrastructure of the the US to get it. Everything that can’t be sold off is thrown away. Karl Marx was right that capitalism will destroy itself in the search for profit.
Billionaires can buy any services they want, so it’s easy to lose prospective quickly from the mom&pop on the street.

When you cook the frog slowly by dialing up the temperature by 1 degree at a time, you don’t feel it. But now the current administration is dialing it up by 10 degrees then ya, you’re cooked.
