CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Rep. Jim Clyburn is hosting a virtual town hall Wednesday for a “critical conversation” about President Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency’s “dismantling” of Social Security.

Joining the Lowcountry congressman is Martin O’Malley, former governor of Maryland and Joe Biden’s Commissioner for the Social Security Administration.

The town hall is set to kick off at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26.

The town hall comes amidst renewed scrutiny into DOGE’s efforts to combat “fraud” in the SSA after a US District judge temporarily blocked the agency’s access to sensitive personal Social Security data.
