Trump floated US ownership of Ukraine power plants: White House • FRANCE 24 English

President Donald Trump has raised the possibility of the United States taking ownership of Ukrainian power plants, the White House said Wednesday as efforts to end the war with Russia proceed. Trump hailed a “very good” call with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky Wednesday, a day after Russia’s Vladimir Putin agreed to temporarily halt attacks on Kyiv’s power plants. 1. This is horrendous. Trump is the worst US leader we've ever seen. Trump and Putin are conspiring to take as many pieces of Ukraine they can get.

  2. Putin and trump were discussing how to divide and rule Ukraine. Two dictators consulting each other. Ukrainian has 2 world power enemy now. Good luck Americans with your new king trump.

  3. (Rump as the guy next door)
Hey Donnie, can I borrow a screwdriver.
Certainly, just sign this paper giving me ownership of your house.
So you'll tear up the paper when I return the screwdriver, right?
    Uh… yeah… sure.

  4. I now know why Western media aren't reporting on the captured soldiers in Zudzha, Ukraine. Because majority of them are NATO troops especially UK, US, France and Ukraine.

  5. So Trump wants to take everything from Ukraine. Zelensky running away from the lions teeth to the crocodile jaws. But he prefers to be devoured by the croc than to be chewed by the lion. This is a pity cos he may not be left with anything and he may not get what he wanted such as nato membership, security guarantees or his lands back

  6. Putin is definitely a long-game strategist, and he’s shown time and again that he knows how to manipulate people by exploiting their weaknesses whether through flattery, blackmail, or just sheer patience.
Trump, on the other hand, operates more like a transactional dealmaker, always looking for a “win” he can sell to his base.

I think Putin will likely try to extract as many concessions as possible before even entertaining any kind of temporary ceasefire.
Trump’s inner circle is mostly made up of business-minded people, not experienced geopolitical operators. That plays right into Putin’s hands because he’s used to dealing with people who underestimate him.
It’s not hard to imagine a scenario where Trump thinks he’s making a “great deal” while Putin is actually getting everything he wants.

Trump pulling back U.S. support for Ukraine and even questioning NATO commitments is exactly what Putin wants, a weakened Western alliance and less resistance to his long-term goals.

In summary, I think Putin is likely to continue employing strategic maneuvers to extract concessions from the Trump administration, using the prospect of a temporary peace deal as a means to further Russia’s long-term objectives.
How far is Trump & his administration willing to sell out Ukraine & europe is the big question.

  7. They're not exactly evil,Ukraine played stupid games and now they have won stupid prizes, just see it as though the landlord has come for his rent, nothing goes for nothing the say we are witnessing it in real time, the ease with which Ukraine turned against Russia was remarkable, and for what joining the EU which Britain left or NATO where they will gladly become a tool for an offensive against Russia.

  8. Trump seem to have agreed with Putin that, instead of destroying Ukraine or possibly confronting each other, they should share Ukraine between themselves. Trump and his oligarchs will take over Ukraine minerals and energy sectors, while Russia takes over the land they are currently occupying.

  9. Is there anything different from what Putin is doing? Trump wants to take over Ukraine, maybe make it a 51st state

  10. GOOD LORD WHO IS EVEN NEGOTIATING HIS SOVEREIGNTY??? Zelensky accepted a complete ceasefire poutine is only talking about a limited ceasefire and talking about a hockey game? BS SLAVA UKRAINI

  11. The shades of So called democracy championed by Imperialist. What was the comedian thinking. He is mortgaging his country to the Yankees
