17. Nah, she was great in it. The movie is fine. People now expect every fucking movie to be a billion-dollar opening weekend that meets every single one of their personal expectations. (And glad I don’t pay as much attention to garbage media celebrity bullshit as so many people in this thread). Press the down arrow, you know you wanna join the mob.

18. As a child I never liked the cartoon movie. It was boring and I didn’t relate to any of the characters. The last thing we needed was a live remake of a damsel in distress. The current political climate didn’t do this movie any favors but my family had zero interest in seeing it anyway. I also love Lilo & Stitch but am not going to see that live action movie either. Disney needs to stop this crap they’re producing

    We don’t need a live action version of an animated movie. We don’t need several interpretations of the same story. We don’t need a movie based off of a tv show that was based off of a book.

    Come up with some original ideas and people will be interested.

    Wicked is the kind of movie they need to try to be. Style AND substance work. Little Mermaid for example is all style, never watch it again. Beauty and the Beast was probably the last one I found to be any good

22. People said it was a lock that she would host SNL only because of that movie and nothing else.

    I never saw any of her stuff or knew who she was until she was on Fallon last fall. I also wasn’t aware of Jenna Ortega until she was everywhere promoting Wednesday.

32. The live action cartoon era of Disney needs to end. We have already seen these movies, and most of them are fantastic. Make original new movies, that will blow people away. That will get the butts in the seats, but we keep recycling and these are the kind of results Disney will get.
