  1. So the plan is to give China and Russia everything they ever wanted in exchange for the US turning into a kleptocracy?

Seems to go swimmingly, China is probably confused how close they suddently are at gaining control over the entire West Pacific…

  2. You got to hand it to the orange dirty diaper, he’s bringing the world together. As an American, it’s unfortunate that it’s against us.

  3. Trump’s foreign policy: bringing people together…just not in the way he intended.

  4. The U.S. is playing a dangerous game by turning our allies away from us and isolating us from the world…

  5. Wait until China buys all of the Canadian aluminum and potash that Trump just tariffed, stable genius.

  6. No way the US was able to fuck up enough to get Japan and China to sit down and talk civilly. That’s crazy to me.

  7. Yes, times are dire, but it’s not the first time they meet: (from the article)

FOR COMMON GROUND The foreign ministers and delegations of the three East Asian countries hold the 11th Trilateral Foreign Minister’s Meeting in Tokyo on March 22.

  8. The USA will end up as the most isolated western country in the world. It’s not like Japan and Souht Korea will choose to be stranded with one country or a so called commonwealth of countries just because Trump views 1: China as a danger to world pease, which the might be, and/or a threat to US domination or manefacturing industri. They will sure go with the rest of the world, either with their neigbours including China with mutual understandings. If China feels more free to use the water and Souht Korea and Japan evict the US army from their terretories they may be okej with that. Japan and Souht Korea may also trade with Europe and/or other countries that the Trumps administration think produce too cheap.

The EU has of cource had it with the US and Souht America knows first hand how US involvement and geo politic games can lead to catastrofic situations and do not trade with the US as much as with EU and China.

Russia will of cource never feel they are a true ally to the USA.

All in all, with the current US administration the USA will be one of the most isolated western country in the world. The enormus overestimation of their own softpower or inovative capacity and too little understandings of culture, they will just as they in the 70s missunderstood Vietnam, Souht America, or latter the Middle east and central Asia now have came to a new colosal missunderstanding of the world. This time it will inevitable lead to the end of US world domination.

Trump, if things dont change rapidly, will go to history as the biggest traitor to USA national interests of all president trough time. A total let down for the USA and it’s people. This comes from beeing stuborn and not listen to people with experience and only soround himself with yes sayers.

Even if I personaly did not complain over the prior world over inspite not being american, maybe it’s for the best. Less than 5% of the worlds population should not have so much influence. Especially not when acting as one of the very biggest polutor per capita un the world and especially not as their population has choosen a leader that outright said he wants the US to polute even more and use up even more of the worlds resources and not give a crap of the rest of the world that has made it possible for the US to have so much. No, in fact, maybe it’s for the best that the last centuries “Rome” falls.

It was one ride and some of us enjoyed it including me, but now; good bye USA. Hope you cure for your own sake even if it wont be like before. I really hate to hear about a civil war in one more continent. Or one new big and dangerous dictature possesing threats to neigbour countries. That would be sad but maybe not totally unlikely since the US population actually even voted for this crazy US “Caligula” and kind of like Fox “news” or predjudice AI ruled and led a country.

  9. Imagine thinking Japan and South Korea have any interest in joining with China…

    Reddit if ridiculously stupid

  10. God he’s gonna destroy our economy isn’t he. He’s gonna start a war or invade a country to distract the public from our economy getting destroyed. fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck

  11. Trump is damn amazing to manage that miracle ahahahahaha. You have to be very special to manage to make those 3 nations have a civil talk against you.

    This sounds like a nottheonion.

  12. Clickbait title. These trilateral meetings are held regularly in conjunction with bilateral meetings and have nothing to do with Trump. You’ll notice the banner says it’s the 11th meeting between the three and they’ve been held since the early 2000s. The trilateral Foreign Minister’s meetings is interspersed with the trilateral leader’s meetings and that was last summer in Korea.

  13. China , an ancient culture built on thousands of years of knowledge and planning

    Up against don and Elon

I know who my money would be on

  14. Gonna keep repeating ad nauseam. This doesn’t mean we have have to crown china as the new uncontested super power, yes it would be the easy economic decision but they have explicit ambition to rule absolutely everything and will screw over everyone if they get the chance. Europe has to properly actually unite, India needs be given every incentive to continue being a problem neighbour, Canada and Mexico likewise alongside Taiwan are possible new Ukraines wars in the future so don’t put them into a situation where China is in only one willing capitalise on the desperation.

I don’t know what I’m talking about, I am nothing, but at the very least China being allowed the same power as the US because they are smart enough to be polite and smart about their goals just seems so short sighted and stupid to me.

  15. Damn. Everyone is just leaving America hanging. No one wants to be with them.

But then again, I don’t blame anyone leaving America hanging.

  16. Imagine being so fucked up that people that hate each other for millennia up to just two months ago are joining up.

Your allies and best friends now hate your guts, again in less than two months.

You have permanently fucked yourselves in less than two months for nothing.

Has any empire fucked up so fast in history?

  17. The orange store has finally done it-he will go down in history as the biggest blunderer elected too the oval office

  18. I swear, its insane how swiftly china shifted to being cooperative. And they are right to do so. The power of the US was its network of allys. If china gets close to influent partners the USA left behind like the awakening EU or Japan, then they can actually get into the position of the world leader without doing expensive wars.

  19. ” 2021

…….Based on current enrollment patterns, we project that by 2025 Chinese universities will produce more than 77,000 STEM PhD graduates per year compared to approximately 40,000 in the United States….

,…the quality and quantity of a country’s doctoral graduates is an important indicator of its future competitiveness, and China’s capacity to produce skilled PhD-level STEM experts appears to be growing rapidly…….”

    The slow rise continues..

  20. Trying to turn the USA into a continental power.

Trump is destroying the USA economy on purpose so the Rick can buy everything up for fire sale prices.

  21. Beware of wolves coming in sheep’s clothing! They only believe in themself at the cost of everyone else!

  22. I had this joke conspiracy theory back in 2016 that the Democrats or shadow government or whatever was making Trump run for president in order to unite all Americans in hating an insane bigot.
Seems I was wrong. He was what was needed to unite the rest of the world against the US lol

  23. The US might actually bring about world peace and unite them against the US.

  24. And they all understand the title written in Chinese on the background.

It’s like US and UK, except with a third buddy on board, like a Spain who speaks English.

  25. Their topic doesn’t seem to be about being world power, but China won’t ever stop, so I bet SK and Japan are both wary.
