
What happened to the only security life had wrt food?
I just ate one of these staples of my childhood. It was totally ruined.
The olive was only half an olive. Which shouldn't bother me so much, most people don't even eat the damn thing. But i do. And now it's only half and it doesn't have the pit in it.
The tomatosauce was sour and spicy and the dough was way to doughy.
I don't know what they save by only putting half an olive on it, but it sucked.
I guess it's crisis everywhere, but this was one certainty in life and it was this pizza.
It was the same since i was a child up until now.
When it was the brand Morando it was so much better. But this abomination is over the top.
I still have two in my freezer, but I'm afraid I won't be eating them at this point.
They could've just made it a bit more expensive but having the same recipe.
Psh, aldi isn't what it used to be.

I have the feeling a lot of food is of lesser quality then in the past in discounters. I remember the river cola in the 90’s or the lasagna with the chef on it from the same time period, was oh so delicious…

If it is too doughy I just leave it in the oven a bit longer, always works!

American Airlines had a cost-saving tactic 30 years ago by removing a single olive from every passenger’s salad. They saved 40,000$ per year (factoring inflation, 100,000$ today). So Aldi did half an olive, could be saving 50,000$. They say is without affecting passenger experience, but clearly for those who like olives, will notice the difference!

Buy another pizza, it will be more expensive but at least it will be edable.
Once the manufacture notices the pizza demand drops they might change thier recipe.

If it has a pit must be a black olive. Without pit, it’s a green olive painted black.
