President Donald Trump is demanding an apology from Gov. Janet Mills over their transgender athletes dispute. On Saturday, the President wrote on Truth Social that “while the state of Maine apologized,” he has not heard from Mills and is demanding a ”full throated apology.”He also demanded that Mills refrain from challenging the federal government’s stance. It is not clear what apology the President received from the state. We reached out to Mills’ office but have not heard back.
