How’s this newsworthy, evertime an army marches by they let them….
Oh im sorry how many times has this been historical precedent?
More guns, consequences will follow.

That is a group of people that actually remember the past – and prepare what might be next.
And then we have Canada, a place with yearly gun bans
PALs will hit record highs in cad too i’m sure. but yes, f*cking brutal policies on firearms.
Now THAT’s freaking scary.
They know what’s coming, sooner than later a govt that will open boarders or Russia will pull up. Inevitable
Let’s not forget Poland is 166th country in the world when it comes to gun ownership:

“Record high” gun permits is not really changing much here.
Meanwhile in Canada….
I never thought I need guns, being a Democrat but after Covid and recently, I got a Glock 17 and a shotgun. The police will not protect us.

I’m honestly surprised Poland wasn’t armed to the teeth after WW2.
Norway is already among the top countries in Europe for gun ownership (28.8 guns/100 ppl, mostly hunting weapons). I recently joined a pistol shooting club for reasons (a necessary step in acquiring Pistols/revolvers, I can already buy shotguns/rifles). I don’t have statistics for how much the ownership rate has increased during the last year, but I do know that the club seems _,very_ active, and that the police is taking longer and longer to process applications due to increased demand.
Although the idea might be right (to prepare), buying a gun will do you absolutely nothing in the modern war.
You will be killed by: air strike, artillery strike, rocket strike, drone attack, mortar mine strike, cluster bomb mine, anti-personnel mine, chemical weapons (since we are talking about ruzzia) and if you are lucky even a nuclear bomb before any soldier ever reaches you so you can try using your tiny pistol.
It’s better to learn how to pack and run as fast as you can and stay alive. And tactical medicine…
Meanwhile in Canada, our Liberal government is actively trying to disarm us while under the threat of annexation.
Self defense capabilities in case a Russian soldier comes pounding on your door. We Lithuanians should do the same I believe.
(Also why does this kinda remind me of 1830-31/1863-64)
