If it’s not clear in the picture, I dunno how the window thingy went all the way up even though it opened sideways. Now I can’t close it. I’ve narrowed down the issue to the metal part on the bottom, it’s colliding with the frame (there’s a hole above it where it should go but because the lever is up, I can’t move it)

Anyone know a trick on solve this (what surely a common) issue?

  1. Hold top left corner fixed in the frame, flip Switch 90 degrees until it’s horizontal, then close window and flip switch another 90 degrees until it points down.

    It’s not rocket science

  2. Ah the old one hing pivot. Just close the door and rotate the handle until it’s secured. Then you should be able to open and vent it like normal

  3. This is why I like reddit, there’s always someone who knows how to fix it! Great 👍

  4. I actually want to recreate this (don’t ask why, it’s embarrassing), how do I do it on my terrace door that can be normally opened and tilted?

  5. When this first happened to me I was in shock. A quick search online helped immediately tho.
