  4. I really hope everything must be done to get it back. Is really incredible how fast the US have become a pariah state. Chine is a much more reliable partner, one might not agree with them, but the respect that a deal is a deal.

  17. Good demand, but to be honest European countries that wanted to give charity to poorer countries should never have done so through USAID in the first place. It’s a tool for the US to get soft power through both good charities and also other less benevolent means. Better to do it directly.

  20. I don’t agree with the shutdown of USAID (as someone who lives in the US), and any contribution made with the intent to create positive change that was not achieved should be returned. I would hope with the return of that money they’d look towards organizations like Doctors Without Borders, organizations that assist with education and/or supplying food where needed. USAID may have had some programs that didn’t need to be there but shutting it down completely was excessive.
