Gwyneth Paltrow has compared dating Brad Pitt to romancing Prince William and revealed all about her intimacy with Timothée Chalamet.

Sliding Doors star Paltrow, who broke up with her ex-fiancé in 1997, says she isn’t bothered that she continues to be associated with Pitt, star of films such as Seven and Bullet Train.

She said: “He’s a very intriguing character. It’s like having dated, I don’t know, Prince William or something. That’s always going to come up.

“I really embrace the roads that I take. I almost never go back and noodle about choices.”

Paltrow, 52, also revealed she is neighbours with Meghan Markle and William’s younger brother Prince Harry, but says she has yet to meet the pair who relocated to the US following their rift with the Royal Family, not helped by Harry’s tell-all memoir Spare.

She lives high in the hills of Montecito, California, and has threatened to pop round with pie for her also famous neighbours.

Paltrow, who has turned Goop guru, also admitted she feels Meghan should be allowed to pursue her bid to establish herself as a lifestyle brand.

“I don’t know Meghan and Harry,” Paltrow, who is the latest star of Vanity Fair, said. “I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all. Maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.”

Asked about Meghan’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, Gwyneth added: “There’s noise about certain women in the culture, I do have, always, a strong instinct to stand up for them.

“I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes. I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try.”

Gwyneth also revealed that she has ‘a lot’ of sex scenes with Timothée Chalamet in the upcoming movie Marty Supreme.

Chalamet plays a ping pong protégé competing overseas. Paltrow is making her return to acting as a rival’s wife who beds Chalamet’.

“This woman who is married to someone who is in the Ping-Pong mafia, as it were,” Paltrow explained. “They meet and she’s had a pretty tough life, and I think he breathes life back into her, but it’s kind of transactional for them both.”

She said: “I mean, we have a lot of sex in this movie,” Paltrow added. “There’s a lot. A lot.

“He’s such a thinking mans sex symbol…Hes just a very polite, properly raised, I was going to say kid. Hes a man who takes his work really seriously and is a fun partner.

“There’s now something called an intimacy coordinator, which I did not know existed.

“I was like, ‘Girl, I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on.’ ”

“We said, ‘I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back. I don’t know how it is for kids who are starting out, but…if someone is like, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here,’ I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that.”

Gwyneth said she cut right to the chase before filming sex scenes with Chalamet who is dating Kylie Jenner in real life.

“I was like, ‘Okay, great. I’m 109 years old. You’re 14.’ He’s just a very polite, properly raised, I was going to say kid . He’s a man who takes his work really seriously and is a fun partner.”
