This is Russia blowing their load -literally and figuratively- because they know they have Trump on side and are basically peacocking as a dominant superpower during the fake peace negotiations to affect the outcome. Hopefully Europe and Ukraine recognise this and are prepared to weather the storm, because after it Russia has nothing left without the US just going even more mask off and sending them weapons.

2. Instead of any movement to peace Trump is just enabling Russia to just do whatever they want without any repercussions.
