Any public transport in Germany, aside from high speed and intercity trains are included in the Deutschland ticket
Yes, Buses are included. If you are unsure, use the planning option on the deutsche Bahn website with Deutschlandticket options.
It is included in the Deutschlandticket.
If it is Deutschlandticket then all buses are always included unless the stop is across international borders. Your semester ticket might not be a Deutschlandticket but rather a regional ticket for a specific city. Check carefully
Rule of thumb is usually every regional or city bus is included in the Deutschlandticket. Regional Buses are often provided by subdivisions of the DB (for example Regio Bus Baden Württemberg) and city buses are often provided by the city’s infrastructure company or tram operators (Stadtwerke Heilbronn (Heilbronn), BVG (Berlin), rnv (Heidelberg), etc.). Long distance Buses like Eurolines or Flixbus aren’t included in the Deutschlandticket.
ALL buses in Germany are included, except long-distance ones (like Flixbus) and some airport and theme park shuttles
As far as I know Deutschlandticket is basically everything apart from IC/ICE. You can even make long trips with it just have to take RB all the time. Would be uncertain about RE. But that’s all train. Anything metro/bus/street-train thingy should be included, unless specifically run by another company, which I think is also quite uncommon in Germany.
