Expert to speak at Apr. 24 event at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Secondary School
How exactly does assistive technology boost students’ learning and success?
It’s a complex question that will be examined during Halton Catholic District School’s upcoming presentation at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Secondary School (1125 Kennedy Circle) in Milton.
Designed for students in grades 4 to 12, the Thursday, April 24 event takes an in-depth look at the benefits of Special Education Allocation (SEA) technology in schools.
The event will feature student-submitted video entries – presented as part of the Ignite Technology Grant – and a talk by D.J. Cunningham, founder of Learnstyle.
He’ll share his personal journey of educational struggles and ultimate SEA-assisted successes.
The presentation runs from 6 to 8 p.m.
