  1. all the countries sell export versions that are inferior to thier model

  2. Rafale would be a great choice. Why get a plane like F35 designed for close air support and attack when we need an aircraft for air police job.

  3. still the best choice and so much superior to every competitor

  4. I mean, we could also maaaaybe invest a bit more into drones,IT/comm. and anti drone structures instead of jets? Just a thought

  5. Didn’t you guys already spend like 700M on it already though?

  6. Basic question: when will we be able to trust the Americans again?

  7. I don’t know… But i hope. Should have taken the Eurofighter deal. What a dumb thing not to do.

  8. That‘s risky, Trump will no doubt be angry and might decide to annex Switzerland.

  9. Boeing salesman of the year 😂 Sure knows how to *make a good deal*!

  10. Was the offer such that the F35 was cheaper than the Rafale and the Eurofighter, if I remember correctly?

  11. While I would like to see the Rafale, the looming political shift to the right in the next election want’s me to wait! If LePen or Bardella are on the helm, we are in shit again!

  12. This has been going for a long time. Its called export version of (enter military product here)

  13. Yes! All we need is Russian SU-57. It’s cheaper and can return Swiss neutrality 😅

  14. F47 is said to be the direct successor of the F22, which was never sold to any other countries.

So selling a F47 “light” is actually less strict than the F22 ever was

  15. You do understand that F-35 was actually cheapest by far of the options? Because it’s actually made in large numbers and US paid for development themselves?

And has more spare parts available because of the numbers of units made and number of countries operating it?

  16. Poverty spec fighter jets. As good as the fully loaded F-35 is, we should re-open the bidding and review process with a view to Sweden and France.
