My Ukrainian second cousin just returned from Paris with her friend. Apparently, at some point they were in a bar and had an unpleasant experience with some young American men who were there, who called them names like “war bitch”. (Apparently, the French people in general were lovely and supportive.)
Here in Canada, I try not to hate all Americans, and I try to remember that Trump most likely won due to election interference and most Americans are decent people who don’t want this shit. I know that this was just one small group of people involved in this incident, and they don’t necessarily represent Americans in general. But the fact that I have already heard, from my own family, of young Americans abroad sucking Trump’s dick while jerking off Putin makes it harder to believe the notion that Americans as a whole have not yet completely fallen to the Trump virus.
