The annual showcase brought back memories of hairspray, shoulder pads, and gated reverb.
MOORHEAD, MN – The ’80s are alive and well!
At least – they were this weekend, thanks to the Moorhead Ice Show.
The annual extravaganza had the theme of “Like Totally ’80s” this year.
The stars of the show were, as always, the hardworking skaters of the area.
But they were also joined by 3-Time National Championship participants Linzy Fitzpatrick and Keyton Bearinger.
Those in charge say they love how the theme shone through in the performance and how the community came out to support.
“It’s a totally fun theme with the ’80s,” said Dawn Franklin, former show director.
“Everybody’s loving the music, the costumes, and the crowd’s huge today which is great because we weren’t quite sure with the weather.”
The show ran three times: Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
